WELCOME! E KOMO MAI.

Your healing journey begins with care, presence, and intention. At Maluhia Health & Wellness, each treatment is designed to gently restore balance — supporting your body’s natural ability to heal while providing a calm, therapeutic space for rest and renewal.

  • WHAT IS ACUPUNCTURE?

Acupuncture is a therapeutic practice that involves the gentle insertion of fine, sterile needles at specific points on the body to promote circulation, alleviate pain, and support the body’s innate healing ability.

  • WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

    Comfort is key!

Loose, cozy clothing that allows access to your arms and legs is perfect.

If adjustments are needed, I’ll make sure you’re fully covered and comfortable at all times.

  • SHOULD I EAT BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT?

    Yes, please do!

Have a light snack or meal about 1–2 hours before your treatment.

Try not to come on an empty stomach or right after a heavy meal — feeling balanced helps you relax more deeply.

  • WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT DURING A TREATMENT?

Your first visit starts with a relaxed conversation about your health, lifestyle, and what brings you in.

During the treatment, I’ll use sterile, single-use needles placed gently at specific points to help your body release tension and restore flow.

Most people describe the experience as calming, warm, and even meditative — some drift off to sleep, and that’s perfectly okay.

  • HOW WILL I FEEL AFTER?

Many patients leave feeling lighter, calmer, and deeply relaxed.

Sometimes you might feel a bit sleepy or emotional afterward — that’s your body adjusting and healing.

Drink some water, move slowly, and give yourself time to rest.

Healing unfolds gradually, and with each session, your body learns how to stay balanced longer.

  • HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?

Everyone’s healing journey is different. Some patients notice changes after just 1-3 treatments, while others may need more to see deeper, lasting results. Chronic conditions often take time, while acute issues may resolve more quickly.

We’ll discuss your goals and create a plan that fits your needs and pace — no pressure, just gentle progress.
